Recruitment Overview
- Sub-Inspector (GD) in SSB is being filled through SSC’s 2026 Sub-Inspector examination.
- The full examination has 1,871 tentative vacancies across Delhi Police, CAPFs and CISF Fire.
Vacancy Breakup
- 172 posts: male 154 and female 18; ESM reservation is included as notified.
- Vacancies are tentative and may be revised by SSC/user departments.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or equivalent by 30 September 2026.
- Candidates awaiting the qualifying result may apply only if they acquire the required qualification by 30 September 2026.
Age Limit
- 20–25 years as on 1 August 2026; born not before 2 August 2001 and not after 1 August 2006.
- Upper-age relaxation: SC/ST 5 years, OBC 3 years and eligible Ex-Servicemen 3 years after deduction of military service; Delhi Police-specific relaxations apply where notified.

- Paper-I computer-based examination.
- Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Endurance Test (PET), qualifying in nature.
- Paper-II computer-based examination.
- Detailed medical examination/review medical examination and document verification, followed by final merit and force/post allocation.

- Preview the form, submit before 30 September 2026 at 11:00 PM and save the final application.
