Earlier Ph.D. registration exemption

For Ph.D. registrations before 11 July 2009, the exemption requires an awarded degree, at least two external thesis examiners, an open viva, two papers from the doctoral work including one in a refereed journal, and two conference/seminar presentations based on that work. The Registrar or Dean of Academic Affairs must certify the required conditions.

Application and selection

Download and complete the prescribed form from the institute website. Bring self-attested education, experience, doctoral and other required certificates and all originals to the walk-in. Applications are handed in at the venue; do not send them by email or post. Certificate verification determines eligibility for the interview, and the institute may impose higher screening criteria. Pay and contract conditions

Pay is ₹52,000 monthly, consolidated and taxable, with no other allowances. Engagement lasts up to eleven months or academic session 2026–27, whichever ends earlier, and can be extended or curtailed according to need and performance.
