Eligibility, application steps and essential conditions
- Advertisement 01/2026 covers 24,752 contractual posts in 183 urban local bodies: 24,277 non-scheduled-area and 475 scheduled-area posts. Corrigendum dated 24 September extends the deadline to 13 October; other terms remain unchanged.
- Rajasthan native residence and one year sanitation experience in a Rajasthan urban local body are essential. Experience may be continuous or combined. The prescribed certificate must be issued after 1 August 2026 and before the deadline, signed/countersigned by the competent municipal authority. Scheduled-area vacancies require eligible local residence.
- Apply to one urban local body only; multiple-body applications are cancelled. In SSO, open Recruitment Portal under Citizen Apps, complete OTR/category details, upload experience/residence/category proof, capture live photo and visible mark, submit and keep the printout. OTR fee is ₹600 UR and ₹400 reserved/PwD.
- Selection uses a computerised category-wise lottery: first applicants with experience in the same urban body, then other bodies of the district, then other bodies in Rajasthan for remaining seats. Medical fitness and police verification follow. Lottery dates will be announced separately. This is fixed-honorarium contractual service.
