NHB Recruitment 2026 – 6 GM, DGM, AGM and Manager Posts
Advertisement and separate application routes
Advertisement NHB/HRMD/Recruitment/2026-27/01 covers six experienced-officer vacancies: GM IT and DGM HR on deputation; AGM Accounts and Managers HR/Legal on regular appointment; DGM Company Secretary on contract. Online registration and payment run from 29 September to 18 October 2026. Deputation forms must reach NHB by 18 October. Age, education and experience are assessed as on 1 September 2026.
Experience and current position
GM IT requires an eligible public-sector-bank DGM or higher with twelve years of post-qualification IT experience and current IT posting. DGM HR requires an eligible public-sector-bank AGM or higher with ten years in HR and current HR posting. AGM Accounts needs twelve years in the specified institutions including eight years in relevant taxation, accounts and regulatory reporting, and the stipulated current grade or equivalent position. Managers and Company Secretary must meet the post-specific experience below. Outsourced vendor, KPO, BPO and IT support-provider experience is excluded under the notice.
Reservation and pay
AGM Accounts and contract DGM Company Secretary each have a UR vacancy. The two Manager positions share a combined UR/EWS allocation; the advertisement does not identify which individual Manager post takes each category, so this listing does not assign it. Current pay-scale ranges below are basic-pay scales, not estimated take-home pay. The contract DGM receives ₹3.50 lakh consolidated monthly plus eligible housing and conveyance. Deputation pay follows the allowed parent-pay/deputation or NHB scale option.
Online application for regular and contract posts
Use the NHB recruitment portal, register, upload the photograph, signature, left-thumb impression, handwritten declaration and supporting documents, then preview carefully. Complete registration, pay and submit by 18 October. Preserve the form and payment receipt. Fees are ₹175 for SC/ST/PwBD and ₹850 for others, with GST and bank charges additional. These fee instructions concern the online regular/contract route.
Offline deputation application
GM IT and DGM HR applicants must use Annexure I through proper channel. Enclose attested ACR/APAR records for the last three years, NOC and vigilance clearance. Send by speed or registered post to Deputy General Manager (HRMD), National Housing Bank, Head Office, Core 5A, India Habitat Centre, Lodhi Road, New Delhi – 110003. Mark the envelope with the post name and deputation basis. Ensure receipt by 18 October; online-only registration does not replace this route.
Selection and appointment
NHB shortlists applicants and may add preliminary screening/group discussion if required. Final ranking uses interview scores, with older age resolving ties. Interviews and call letters will be announced. Originals, employer NOC and experience/category evidence are required. Medical, police, employer and referee checks apply; the notice also sets loan-default and credit-record conditions. Regular probation is one year, extendable; contract and deputation engagements are three years subject to their specific terms.
