Eligibility, application steps and essential conditions

1. Advertisement 2026/Cont/04 offers 159 full-time fixed-tenure roles across engineering, contracts, safety and mineral processing. Post codes have different qualifications, experience, pay and one-, two- or three-year contracts. These are experienced-professional appointments.
2. Age and experience are measured on 25 September. Regular/full-time qualifications must be recognised; experience generally requires relevant salaried full-time employment. PSU management/engineering/graduate training and statutory apprenticeship may count; freelance work, entrepreneurial activity, internships, teaching and research do not.
3. Apply through MECON Careers → Career Opportunities → Apply Online between 3 and 17 October. Choose the exact post code, upload JPG/JPEG photo and signature up to 40 KB each and one self-attested document PDF up to 1 MB. Use Verify until status becomes Submitted, then keep a printout.
4. The document PDF must contain age proof, degree and all marksheets, employer experience certificates, PAN/Aadhaar and relevant category evidence. Selection is by personal interview, subject to any announced change, document verification and medical fitness.
5. Fee ₹500 for fee-paying candidates; applicable exemptions and age concessions are listed below. Reserved candidates applying against UR seats do not receive category age/fee relaxation under the notice. Posting is subject to project requirements; remuneration and allowances vary by code.
