Canara Bank Graduate Apprentice Recruitment 2026 – 3,500 Training Seats

Organisation: Canara Bank
Location: All India
Closing date: 2026-10-17
Qualification: Graduation passed 01-01-2023 to 01-09-2026; 60% in 12th/Diploma, 55% for SC/ST/PwBD
Pay: ₹16,650 monthly stipend during 12-month apprenticeship
Age: 20–28 years as on 01-09-2026; prescribed category relaxation

Eligibility, application steps and essential conditions

  1. This is 12-month apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act, not a regular bank appointment. The bank has no obligation to offer employment afterward. The stipend comprises ₹10,500 bank share and ₹6,150 government share, with no other employee allowances.
  2. Graduation must have been passed between 1 January 2023 and 1 September 2026 inclusive. The separate minimum-marks and merit criterion uses 12th/Diploma percentage: 60% ordinarily, 55% for SC/ST/PwBD. Fractions do not qualify a score below the minimum.
  3. Register first on https://nats.education.gov.in and complete the profile to 100%. Then use the Canara Bank recruitment link during 1–17 October, enter the NATS enrolment ID, choose one State/UT and district preferences, upload photo, signature, thumb impression and handwritten declaration, pay and keep confirmation.
  4. DOB window is 2 September 1998 to 1 September 2006. SC/ST receive five years, OBC NCL three and PwBD ten years relaxation. Ex-servicemen are not eligible. Prior apprenticeship or at least one year of relevant post-qualification training/employment makes a candidate ineligible.
  5. Selection uses State-wise 12th/Diploma merit, original-document verification, local-language assessment where not exempt and medical fitness. Older candidates rank first on equal percentage. A 10th/12th marksheet showing the chosen local language can exempt the language test.
  6. Fee is ₹500 including GST for other applicants; SC/ST/PwBD are exempt. State/category and local-language seat allocations appear below. A bank posting may be anywhere in the chosen State, subject to training needs.
