CCEA approves four-laning of Bihar NH-22 section

The Muzaffarpur–Sitamarhi–Sonbarsa section of NH-22 will be upgraded to four lanes.

The 82.578-km Bihar project will be developed under Hybrid Annuity Mode at a capital cost of ₹3,590.73 crore. It connects the India–Nepal border at Sonbarsa with Muzaffarpur and NH-27.
