Admission overview
XAT 2027 applications are open for candidates seeking MBA/PGDM admission through participating institutions. XLRI programme choices must be selected separately in the application; other institutes have independent applications and selection rules.
IMPORTANT DATES
• Registration opened: 15 July 2026.
• Closing date: 6 December 2026.
• Admit-card download: 20 December 2026, tentative.
• Examination: 3 January 2027, 2–5 PM.
FEE
XAT registration costs ₹2,300. Each selected XLRI programme requires an additional ₹200. Admission tuition and other programme charges are separate.
APPLICATION STEPS
Register on the official application portal and verify your email. Enter academic and applicable work-experience details, select programme and test-city preferences, upload photograph/signature, review, pay and submit. Save the completed application and payment receipt.
Meeting XAT eligibility does not automatically establish eligibility for every institute or programme. Check the chosen programme's requirements.

Before you apply
Eligibility
Recognised bachelor's degree of at least three years or equivalent in any discipline. Candidates completing final examinations by 11 June 2027 may apply. Participating institutes and individual programmes impose their own additional requirements.
