Admission overview
CLAT 2027 — law admission entrance test
Applications are open for integrated undergraduate law and LL.M. programmes at participating National Law Universities. Course fees, intake and reservation rules vary by NLU.
IMPORTANT DATES
• Application window: 3 August–31 October 2026.
• Final submission and payment: 31 October, 11:59 PM.
• Offline examination: 6 December 2026, 2–4 PM; eligible PwD candidates receive the notified extended duration.
APPLICATION AND DOCUMENTS
Register with your mobile number and email, verify the OTP, select UG or PG, complete the form, upload your photograph/signature and applicable category certificates, pay and submit. Keep the confirmation. Follow the official counselling notices after results.
Application fee: ₹4,000 General/OBC; ₹3,500 SC/ST/BPL/PwD. Optional previous papers cost ₹500 extra.

Before you apply
Eligibility
UG: 10+2 with 45% marks; 40% for SC/ST/PwD. Candidates appearing in March/April 2027 may apply. PG: LL.B. or equivalent with 50%; 45% for SC/ST/PwD; qualifying-exam candidates appearing in 2027 may apply. No upper age limit. Proof of passing is required at admission.
